Random logos from around my house.

My step dad Ken has a collection of old signs from growing up. This one gives you that some what of a victorian feel the way the letters are and how they used the border around the letters.

I just love our mustang, and I figured I would add this one in there =]

These are just really old cans of Antiseptic we had. It really has that Victorian feel because on the side is a very elaborate drawing. and on the fround they use borders around the picture of the man and the label.

Dr. Pepper

Last class period we talked about logos, and how they change over time. Well I was sitting at the car wash in St. Joe when this caught my eye. Dr.Pepper is by far my favorite drink, and this is an old version of their logo. I went on the internet and found a new version of their logo at http://www.answers.com/topic/dr-pepper. The style is pretty simalar except they've given it more of a flow.

Aero

This came from www.areopostale.com. I posted it becuase of the font type. It's bright, and abstract. Then they used a different font type on the links. It's simple, and isn't really something that makes you say "WOW!!"

Imagination

While I was sitting at work I came across this image from a design agency called Midgibyte. I love the colors they used, and how bright it is. It really jumped out at me. They have a lot of other images that I think you would enjoy. Here's the sites portfolio http://www.midgibyte.com/portfolio.php

Evoke

I was thinking about my blog, and I wanted to find an image just on graphic design itself. I went to some websites, and researched some schools. I came across this image, and fell in love. If you look it says "Design evokes design" Which we went over in class. How the past works of other designers help influence the designers today. Then at the bottom it says "EVOKE". I guess this picture just really made me think.

Chiodos

This is an advertisement for my one of my favorite bands Chiodos. I got it off their website, and I think they did a great job on catching your eye. The way the font doesn't all run in a straight line, and it's not you average font type. I also like how the band members are doing their own thing, and gives the feeling that they're laid back, and fun.
